
From March 16 to 25, Dr. Wang Lingjun, Vice Minister of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC), led the Chinese customs delegation on visits to counterpart authorities in Argentina, Bolivia, and France.
During the visits, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with heads of customs and agricultural agencies from the three countries on topics including market access for agricultural and food products exported to China, Belt and Road food safety cooperation, "Single Window" initiatives, the "Smart Customs Cooperation Partnership”, smart image recognition, mutual recognition agreements of Authorized Economic Operators (AEO), anti-smuggling enforcement, capacity building, and customs cooperation between Beijing Capital International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Customs inspection and quarantine cooperation documents such as protocols for agricultural and food product exports to China were signed.
The delegation also conducted field investigations at agricultural and food product export companies, cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and customs supervision terminals in the three countries, while exchanging views on work with responsible officials from Chinese embassies stationed abroad.
