BRICS Smart Customs Center of Excellence Website Debuts
On June 30, the official website of the BRICS Smart Customs Center of Excellence was launched.
This website serves as the online platform for the BRICS Customs Center of Excellence and is available in Chinese, English, Russian, and Arabic. It is organized into four sections: BRICS Trade, Cooperation Meeting, Smart Customs, and Enterprise Services. The site offers a convenient portal for customs authorities from other BRICS countries to learn about China’s experience and achievements in developing Smart Customs, while also promoting deeper practical cooperation in this field. Additionally, it provides enterprises with access to customs policies and trade information relevant to BRICS countries. The development and launch of this website represent a concrete step by the General Administration of China Customs to implement President Xi Jinping’s directive on establishing a BRICS Customs Center of Excellence. It holds significant importance for further deepening the development and cooperation of smart customs among BRICS countries.
Moving forward, the General Administration of China Customs will continue to accelerate the development of the BRICS Smart Customs Center, with a focus on key initiatives such as advancing the BRICS Smart Customs Center of Excellence website, establishing pilot sites for “Smart Customs” development and cooperation, and promoting capacity building and exchanges among BRICS customs authorities. These efforts aim to create an interactive and shared platform for “Smart Customs” development and cooperation among BRICS countries, thereby supporting high-quality economic and trade growth within the BRICS community.
