Operational Model of the China-EU SSTL Project and Case Studies of Xiamen Customs

Main content: The China-EU Smart and Secure Trade Lanes (SSTL) pilot project is the world’s first international cooperation project fully implementing the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade. Based on data exchange and mutual recognition of regulatory results between Chinese and EU customs, it refines security and facilitation rules for Asia-Europe trade supply chains, achieves end-to-end monitoring of shipping containers and cargo, and establishes secure, convenient, and intelligent international trade transportation lanes. This course explains the operational model of the China-EU SSTL project and presents case studies from Xiamen Customs.
